Submersible pumping system powered by a stand-by generator
Pumping system that runs on stand-by generators are reliable, affordable and easy to maintain. This system is good for rural areas without electricity. The trick is to have a big storage tank to avoid pumping all the time for small demands like washing hands, cloths e.t.c.
This well was dug up to 120 ft and the pump was installed at a depth of 100 ft, pumping all the way to the over head tanks. The pumping system is custom designed considering the well depth, running distance for the water, and information gotten from the aquifer test report. The size of the generator is sized in reference to the motor size of the pump.
